Our first gas stop included a check of our cover tarp, needed because it was pouring in Kings Beach when we picked up the Tahoe City kids. Within about 10 miles, this lovely tarp had ripped completely in two, but luckily the road stayed dry all the way to June Lake.

The 2012 June Lake Camp, led by Nancy Fiddler, Mark Nadell, Austin Meng, and Marie French. Athletes included Savannah Blide, Raylene Chew, Laurel Fiddler, Skyler Flora, Meghan Kelley, Amanda Kirkeby, Bria Riggs, Cody Atwood, Carson Bold, Markus Brun, Aaron Deeter, Brandon Flora, Brandon Herhusky, Alex Kopytko, Patrick MacAuley, Philip Oxford, and Sam Zabell. Activities included hiking, ski walking, classic and skate rollerskiing, climbing Mt. Conness, and many other shenanigans, of course.

MacBethGraphics > After our arrival, it was time for a leisurely(?) hike up the Agnew Lake trail out of June Lake. The kids all noticed that the mountains down there are a bit bigger than the Northern Sierra's.
